What I love: The juxtaposition old and new, historic and modern. In the foreground, a red painted historic home sits along North Poplar Street in Fourth Ward, a historic quarter in Uptown Charlotte. The tall, silver-blue buildings in the background are much more typical of Uptown Charlotte, and create almost a jarring juxtaposition with the soft, rich details in the foreground.
