What Working with Me Feels Like…
I approach photography work with a project mindset: while the time “on location” to capture the images is certainly a critical piece of our partnership, it’s not the whole story.
With my project-based approach, I meet with you beforehand to understand your goals for capturing these images: what story do you want to convey, and how do you want these images to inspire your future customers and clients? We will also talk through logistics: location(s), lightning, key images to capture (the shot list), etc.
This pre-session planning meeting means that both you and me will have clear expectations about the project and the end result (your beautiful new images!). Because we’ve talked through logistics and expectations ahead of time, our time together on location will feel easy, exciting, and inspirational. This is what I want for you: ease, peace of mind, and excitement for your final images.
With intention, I work with just a small number of clients.
It’s important for me to preserve and protect time for my creative practice as an artist.
And unexpectedly, I’ve found that the more space and time I have to create my own artwork, the more impactful I can be as a visual storyteller for the client projects I do take on.
